1. Who we are

Practical Finds is an independent information website. We are not a government agency, and we are not affiliated with any government agency or with Gov-Auctions.org.

2. Information we do not collect

We do not ask for or collect your name, email address, phone number, home address or payment details on this Site. Any purchase happens on a third-party website (see section 6).

3. Information collected automatically

When you use the Site, the following may be collected:

• Your quiz answers (vehicle type, budget range, buying timeline, and whether a paid membership works for you). These are general preferences, not personal details.
• A random click identifier generated by the Site, used to connect your visit to the button you clicked and to a later purchase on the partner site, if any.
• Technical data such as IP address, browser type (user agent), device information, pages viewed, and the advertising campaign or ad that brought you to the Site.
• Cookies and similar identifiers, including Meta (Facebook) cookies such as _fbp and _fbc.

4. How we use this information

• To show you the quiz and the result page.
• To measure how our advertising performs (for example, how many visitors clicked through to the partner site or completed a purchase).
• To prevent fraud and abuse of our links.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to make decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

5. Meta Pixel and Conversions API

We use the Meta Pixel on the Site and Meta's Conversions API on our server. These tools send Meta information such as page views, button clicks, your IP address, browser user agent, and Meta cookie identifiers, so that we can measure and improve our ads on Facebook and Instagram. If you complete a purchase on the partner site, we may also send Meta a notice that a purchase occurred, together with the same identifiers.

6. Third-party sites

The button on our result page takes you to Gov-Auctions.org. Checkout is handled by ClickBank. These sites have their own terms and privacy policies, and we do not control how they process your information. When you click through, a click identifier is passed to them so a resulting purchase can be credited to us. ClickBank may notify us that an order page was viewed or that a purchase was made, along with that identifier and our commission amount. We do not receive your payment details.

7. Cookies and your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The Site will still work without cookies, but we may not be able to measure ad performance.

8. Data retention

We keep click and event records for up to 24 months for reporting and accounting, then delete or anonymize them.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, California or other US states), you may have rights to know, access, delete or correct personal information, and to opt out of the "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To make a request, email support@practical-finds.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

10. Children

The Site is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date shows when it was last changed.
